Dunn Lumber had two attempted break-ins in January 2024. The first attempt involved two thieves driving a stolen red pickup truck on 1/14/2024. They tried to gain entry by the south door but were thwarted by the extra protection recently applied to the door-locking area. A second attempt was made on the same door on 1/18/2024 but the thief was surprised by an employee hearing the attempt being made while the employee was inside the store. The surprised thief dashed to a waiting black Camero to make his escape. Other than the minor damage to the door, no other damage was done.
