IRES/Emerald Landing reporting an abandoned vehicle on Find It/Fix It app on 10-20-2021 and the response received from Seattle Parking Enforcement.

Thank you for contacting the City of Seattle to report an abandoned vehicle. Your request has been assigned the unique service request number 21-00227839. This number is the official reference number for your service request if you need to inquire about it in the future.

City Traffic Code does not allow a vehicle to be parked on the same block of a city street for longer than 72 consecutive hours. Enforcement of the 72-hour parking rule was paused in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in October 2021. As a result, the City is now working to respond to a large number of reports of abandoned vehicles and expects that it may take longer than usual to respond to these requests. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get to your request. The City’s initial focus will be on clearing unoccupied hazardous vehicles which have been abandoned on public streets within the Seattle city limits. Parking enforcement at SDOT will not impound a vehicle with someone living in it unless it poses a specific risk to public health such as inadequate sanitation, protection from the weather, or other environmental, fire, health and safety hazards.
