Vandals again broke into the newly abandoned building across the street from Dunn Lumber on 12-30-21 by tearing off the lumber and plywood etc covering the entry. This is the new normal of putting up lumber and plywood bolted into the building and vandals tearing it all off overnight.

10 Eco Blocks have been installed along NE Northlake Way between the old Burke Gilman trail and the street. The blocks are those large concrete barriers seen all around the city. The Porta-Potty at the Sunnyside boat ramp has been pushed back down the boat ramp again. It has happened multiple times in the past couple of months and never before in the past 5 years. Also there is a metal canoe that is likely stolen that has shown up on the ramp – pictures attached.

Dunn employees noticed lights on in an abandoned building next door to Dunn Lumber. On checking on this, the employees found a broken window and entered to see what was going on. Yet another break in to the abandoned building across from their retail store. Intruders used a pry bar to tear off plywood and lumber to gain access to the building. A contractor is now installing what they hope is a way beefier deterrent for this property. This has been the sight of both stolen property
