Incidents at Fisheries Supply

On Wednesday evening, 6/3/2021, someone broke into one of our hallways, defecated, and then tried to break into our warehouse (we know there was an attempt because of a broken doorknob).

On Tuesday morning, 6/1/2021, a store employee opening the store discovered that a man had set up his tent in front of our store blocking the entrance. The employee witnessed him taking off his pants in front of the store. They yelled through the locked door to leave but the person refused until more employees arrived.

Someone has also been spreading glue inside the front of the US Mail drop box with the intent to “grab” mail before it gets down the chute.

About a month ago, someone broke into our warehouse on on 34th and Woodlawn. The individual, who appeared homeless, ran out of the building towards Gasworks Park after being discovered by our employee. The police arrived soon and were made aware of this incident.

Since the pandemic has started, we have discovered on multiple occasions people sleeping in our outdoor hallways.

In the last year, we have seen our vehicles spray painted on at least 25 different occasions. This is a new level of vandalism that has never been experienced before.
