WeHeartSeattle (a volunteer group that cleans up homeless encampments etc) rounded up 20 volunteers on Saturday to clean up part of Northlake Way and will come again to this area on a semi-regular basis. This group picked up 8000 pounds of trash on this first go round. Some campers even joined in the clean up effort. WeHeartSeattle is strictly a voluntary group and uses donations to fund their clean up efforts around Seattle and other metrorpolitan areas.
