Seattle police recover cash, guns and drugs from stolen trailer

Seattle police recovered a safe full of cash and drugs after finding a stolen trailer in Northlake.
On Oct. 14, around 9 a.m., officers found a camper trailer with drilled-out locks parked in the 2100 block of North Northlake Way.
Once officers determined the trailer was stolen, they checked inside and found a 54-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.
The man was carrying more than 20 debit, credit and ID cards that appeared to belong to other people, along with two handguns in a backpack.
Police also found stolen vehicle keys and modified keys typically used by auto thieves.
After a search warrant was obtained, officers discovered $9,300, 39 grams of heroin, 1,357 fentanyl pills, 298 grams of methamphetamine and 1,240 Xanax pills in a small safe.ExpandAutoplay

The man was arrested and booked into King County jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm –— due to previous felony convictions –— and narcotics possession with intent to distribute.
The woman was identified and released at the scene.
