10 Eco Blocks put in on east end (near Dunn Lumber) of NE Northlake Way 12-16-21

10 Eco Blocks have been installed along NE Northlake Way between the old Burke Gilman trail and the street. The blocks are those large concrete barriers seen all around the city. Seattle Parking Enforcement action on Northlake Way 12-13 and 12-14-21

Seattle Parking Enforcement seemed to have a focus on the area of Northlake Way between the Westward Restaurant and Dunn Lumber Company on 12/13 and 12/14/21 including putting warnings on vehicles parked there, had some vehicles towed, and had some trash picked up and removed. Yet another break in to abandoned building next to Dunn Lumber 12-9-21

Dunn employees noticed lights on in an abandoned building next door to Dunn Lumber. On checking on this, the employees found a broken window and entered to see what was going on. The employees found a stove still warm, a full refrigerator, and drugs in the bathroom. The employees boarded up the entry point. Earlier

Dunn Lumber had yet another break in to an abandoned building nearby and reported an RV parked in front of a fire hydrant 12-7-21

Yet another break in to the abandoned building across from their retail store. Intruders used a pry bar to tear off plywood and lumber to gain access to the building. A contractor is now installing what they hope is a way beefier deterrent for this property. This has been the sight of both stolen property
